ESP32-CAM Wi-Fi Camera Development Board

The ESP32-CAM is a compact development board that combines an ESP32 microcontroller with a camera interface, wireless connectivity and support for local storage. It provides an affordable platform for developing connected camera and image-processing applications.

The board features integrated 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing captured images and camera data to be transmitted wirelessly to a computer, smartphone, web server or other network-connected device. It can also be programmed to operate as a standalone wireless camera or IoT device.

A microSD card interface is provided on common ESP32-CAM versions, allowing images, video frames, sensor data and other files to be stored locally. The board also exposes GPIO connections for interfacing with sensors, LEDs, relays and other peripherals.

The ESP32-CAM is well suited to smart surveillance, remote monitoring, home automation, robotics, access-control systems, image capture and other IoT applications requiring a compact wireless camera platform.
