SIM900 GSM / GPRS Shield

This GSM / GPRS Shield is based on the SIM900 module from SIMCOM and comes with all the necessary connectors and components to fully use the cellular module. It allows you to communicate wirelessly via the same network infrastructure that cell phones use. With this shield, you can add SMS, MMS, voice, and GPRS capabilities to most standard Uno R3 boards. The SIM900 module is typically controlled via UART with the help of a particular set of AT commands (GSM 07.07, 07.05, and SIMCOM enhanced AT Commands). In addition, 12 GPIOs, 2 PWMs, and an ADC input from the SIM900 have been broken out to pin headers on the shield making them easy to access.
