Versatile AVR Microcontroller

The ATmega328P-PU is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller designed for a wide range of embedded and control applications. It combines program memory, data memory, digital and analog I/O, timers and communication peripherals in a compact 28-pin through-hole package.

28-Pin PDIP Package

The ATmega328P-PU is supplied in a 28-pin PDIP package, making it suitable for breadboards, sockets and through-hole circuit designs. The removable DIP package is particularly convenient for prototyping and applications where the microcontroller may need to be replaced.

Memory and Processing

The microcontroller provides 32 KB of in-system programmable flash memory, 2 KB of SRAM and 1 KB of EEPROM. It can operate at clock speeds of up to 20 MHz, providing sufficient processing capability for a wide range of embedded applications.

Integrated Peripherals

The ATmega328P includes 23 programmable general-purpose I/O lines, a 10-bit ADC with multiple analog input channels, timers and counters, PWM outputs and serial communication interfaces including USART, SPI and I2C-compatible TWI.

Arduino-Compatible Applications

The ATmega328P is widely used in Arduino-based designs and can be used as the main microcontroller in custom Arduino-compatible circuits. It is suitable for standalone embedded projects, robotics, automation, sensor systems, control applications and educational electronics.
